Got the scope out to nab Mars - before it gets away from us, decided to point to M16 for no particular reason other than i haven't been under the skies since feb.

4 x 5 mins Ha due to my shoddy planetary PA in this instance.

mixed in to R and L in some old noisey DSLR data for no particular reason except boredom really.

more data would help but seriously what a clean chip these little 694s are.
been a few clear skies out of late, although the forecasting hasn't been accurate enough for me to set up and leave the gear out for a couple of nights. surely soon we'll string together a few nights.

on another note how good are the photos being posted up in this forum of late? jaw dropping goodness - so much talent

clear skies

The 684 chip is really nice isn't it :) Looks like you have a sharp Eagle there!

That's magnificent for just 20 minutes!

Great to see you out there again. Looking forward to more.

Too right ...just getting out there is what it can be all about sometimes. Then you still manage to compose a pretty good image like this to boot! Win-Win :)

Great detail, Russ. Placidus's "reluctant parachutist" shows up nicely.

Cheers,
Rick.

thanks for the kind words Ray.

I always seem to be battling with tilt on one side of frame (left in this instance).
I am undecided if the cause is the moonlite RCC1 combo or the TSOAG9. I am considering buying a more sturdy OAG.
