while waiting for the belt of Venus effect to appear I was lucky enough to see a hawk hunting for its dinner tonight, by moonlight!! alas there was no effect tonight because of the hazard reduction burnoffs around the hunter:question:

Looks like a Black Shouldered Kite they often hunt right up till dark getting the small animals as they come out .

Sinatra's "Fly me to the moon" comes to mind....

mmmmm.....the hunter has been hazy, and that is a black shouldered kite, will be good when things clear up a bit and you can get that shot:thumbsup:
