Just had my Canon 5dmkII modded to a full spectrum...but I'd still like to use it occasionally as a non-astro camera.
The are a number of 77mm UV/IR filters out there...any recommendations?
P.S. I already have UV/IR a drop-in camera filter...but live view is a PITA for daylight work.

Xnite CC1 filter. I used one on a full spectrum 20D and it worked fine.

Hi Peter
I bought the Kolari Vision colour correcting hot mirror filter recently for my full spectrum modified camera, it works great as far as I have found.
There is also the X-nite CC1 IR/UV Cut filter but I have not tried them.
I would have coppied the link but am having trouble doing it on mobile...

Well a UV/IR Cut filter is not going to turn a modified camera back into a standard model. The darker blue cast filter , usually called LP2, in the internal filter holder is what gives the stock camera its colour profile, that and white balance. When LP2 is removed you open the camera up to far more red light than stock. The LP1 filter, also called the anti-aylsing filter, actually has a uv/ir cut profile and some people leave it in place for that reason. With both LP 1&2 removed you do need to put in a uv/ir cut filter ahead of the sensor. It provides a cutoff below Hydrogen Alpha so you still get the five fold increase in Ha light but it does not colour correct. Rebalancing the camera will not help much you will need to put in a filter that has near the same bandpass characteristics as the original LP2. Personally i prefer to keep my astro camera for astro work and not fiddle around with reconfiguring it.

B+W UV/IR Cut 486M is what you want, much better than Kolari (check spectral response). Comes in all sizes including 2in

Thanks guys...I ran with the Kolari in the end....should arrive in a couple of weeks.
FYI the clip-in I'm also using is a new product from Optolong for EOS full frame cameras...seems almost identical to the one by Astronomik.
