For sale is a Celestron wedge and mount, i am selling due to a recent upgrade to HEQ5
The wedge is not the new style but it serves a purpose, it was purchased with the telescope some time back, it has some minor usage marks, It fits my C11 and my C8, can only assume it will fit a 9.25 as well. As for any other scope bases i can measure the hole pitch if you provide a measurement. ((Asking $250 + postage.))
Mount is in good condition, except, one of the leg clamps had to be welded after it arrived damaged, "new" from the states. I used this for many years without any problems. ((please make an offer.))
The Fork has Celestron astromaster encoders fitted. The astro master manual states that the encoders are 1000-10000 step, i am unsure of what that actually means. They and the astromaster system was working 12 months ago when i upgraded. The down side is that there is an electrical gremlin in the fork base that Celestron do not want to know about, the motor works fine. i was using an electrical box that a mate made for me to control the AZ motor for a while and got sick of it so i upgraded. I have moved house and can't seem to locate the box. all the original manuals are here. The Dec motor works great just not alot of Dec control as it is a clip on motor. I do not really wish to pull the encoders/ motor and gear out of the fork if avoidable. ((please make an offer)).
I have tried to shrink the 3.8 MB picture files so they can fit here as thumbnails but i can not figure it out; (i do not use computers at all) if anyone is interested then please send me your email in a PM and i will get them to you: or conversely please tell me how to post in the listing.
