This was taken over the last two nights, we've been blessed with some good nights this new moon for a change.
I thought I must have had a rogue sub because it looks like I have dark halo around the galaxy. But looking at Paul's image posted recently he also has that dark halo.

You've got some really nice resolution there :) Most of the colours look really muted though, yellow core but the rest is lacking. It is that same with the stars, they're yellow or while. Could that have been in the debayering?

Now that you mention it Colin, I did change the debayer settings for a different camera last week, I'm trying to remember if I changed it back when I stacked these. It's set correctly now.
I might re-stack them again and see if there is any difference.

Nice result, Bill. The colour looks OK to me. I don't think it's a debayering problem. A little selective saturation and you'd have something more flashy and less respectful of the light :lol:
