Help please. HEQ5Pro wiring

HI. I needed to undo the switch panel on my HEQ5Pro to access the Az adjustment screw. A red, black, brown and yellow wire have come adrift from the panel and I don't know exactly from where. Can anyone help me please?

The wires that have come off appear to have come from a line of 5 pads running between the 12V input socket and the hand controller socket. There is a white wire still attached at the 1st of the 5 soldering pads, right next to the J2 marking on the PCB.
Looking at the the solder pads with a magnifying glass shows that the wires have not broken, but were just barely soldered on. Very poor construction Mr. Skywatcher! :mad2:

Okay Robert, all the major wires are as follows:
The line that runs vertically alongside the autoguider socket is from top to bottom blue
red
brown
white
yellow
black

The line that runs vertically alongside the hand controller socket is from top
to bottom white
brown
yellow
red
black
Hope that is all you need.

They're going to be a little awkward to get to even with my little electronically controlled soldering iron. I'll have to remove the wiring loom from the main housing so I can work comfortable on my work bench.

Not a problem Robert. At least it is easy, you only have to remove the side and front cover to disconnect from the motor control board;
you don't have to remove the motors or board.

All done thanks Raymo. Taking the board and wiring loom off the mount made it much easier. I've bound the wires together so they support themselves and don't wave around, so I shouldn't have that problem again.
When the weather, or should I say if the weather improves, I'll be out again with 'scope. Been a few ups and downs both health and weather wise of late, plus grandparent duties.

Well I've got my mount all back together and its blowing a gale here! No chance of a let-up for days. Every time there's a new moon its overcast. When its clear, there's a bright moon. I can't win. Maybe I should take up tiddly winks. :lol:
When you do finally get out with your acro 102, you'll love it. My ED100 is great, works well with the EQ5. I think my ideal refractor would be a 150mm triplet. Hmmm $$$$. I'd also like an 8" RC. But what's the point if the skies are always yuk! :shrug:

Because of member numbers in the eastern states the awfulness of
Melbourne's weather vis a vis astronomy gets a lot of air time, but
where I live is worse than Melbourne. I get about 35-40 good nights per
year, and another maybe 25 barely usable ones, and all through winter
the water drips off the bottom of my scope.
