This is an image of the Leo Trio of Galaxies which includes M65 and M66 and NGC 3628.

I shot more than 7 hours worth of exposure specifically trying to see if I could pick up the faint tidal tail of NGC 3628. The tail is a stream of stars that stretches some 300 million light years from the galaxy.
I also recorded something of what was, initially, mystery in this fairly deep image. I did figure out what it was eventually. Click on this link here (http://www.astropix.com/NGC3628_and_comet.html) to see what it was. It was quite a surprise.
