Boy am I tired. .;)

Damn having to go to work today. Could use the time to get some sleep for tonight. Luckily theres a bit too much cloud tonight.

Over 18 hours of lx200 star time over the week-end after 5 weeks of waiting. What a sweet little machine!

M42 Bang! In your face Homer:D

47 tuc WOW. NGC253 sweet. And Glob Clusters, drool. Did I mention Glob clusters? And GALAXIES. Blew me away! And only an 8 " scope. And all this in the LP skies of Sunshine Coast (mag 3.5 - 4.5 on a good night. Fri and Sat must have been good nights)

God I can't wait to get my imaging gear up and running. Gotta get some sleep though. Gotta learn to polar align this thing first. maybe wednesday night. No kids this weekend. Guess who's going bush. :p Man I am one happy chappy. Worth every penny.

Now to buy some land on top of a mountain out in a desert (no more than an hours drive from a coffee club (only proviso from my cheer squad (wife)), where it doesn't get too hot, and quit my job so I can sleep all day. So this is what a IMHOgood scope, does to you. Should have done it years ago.

Sleep, need sleep. Just thought I'd share my hysterical jubilation.
Cheers
Paul

Yeah Lx200 are like that, my first light was something very similar. Love to get the beast out, especially with people who have never looked. You have got a good scope, and as for imaging, wait till you do.
