Expose: 6 x 4 mins ISO 1600;
Camera: Canon 350D unmod;
Mainscope: LXD-75 SN-8, MPCC, no filter;
Guiding: Orion 80ED, MaxDSLR;
Process: Aligned MaxDSLR, curved and composited in Photoshop;

Ahh, another lovely image of this wonderful globular. A very nice photo Bill - the very centre is maybe a little too burned out, always a problem with these densely packed stars. Usually, some stretching or digital development can help minimize this burn out, which is sometimes also seen in the bright cores of galaxy images.

Thanks. Here's a closeup (100% resolution) in grayscale which consists of the data in the original color pic plus another 20 mins UHC-S. i wanted to see how many stars I could extract from the dim areas..

Image width is about 30 arcmins.
