I think you would do better to sell the two setups separately.
The full tube 10" on its original base for between $550 - $650 (RRP $899)
[ I personally bought a "near mint" 10" collapsible at a very good price of $550 some years ago)

And the 10" goto base for around the same price maybe $600-$700.
(not sure of the RRP but suspect it is around $990 ?)

However, sold together, I would not expect to pay much more than say $975.
Assuming it works well together in goto operation.
And that the OTA can be mounted on (either of) both bases - after the conversion has been applied to the OTA. (otherwise the old base is not much use to this user, IMHO).

I also wonder how the Go-To base performs with the full tube OTA?
I expect it is designed to work with the collapsible.
And the full tube appears to be 1500 fl while the collapsible is 1200 fl.
This may require the use of counterweights to obtain the balance needed for accurate goto?

Just curious as to what it's worth. I paid $500. The OTA is 1200mm. I have the part to convert the OTA for the spare base. Tested and working fine, although the collimation was way off, I suspect that as it was it would have been virtually unusable. Good friend of mine donated a 5 amp 240v - 12v adapter with a female cig socket. As usual, the clouds have rolled in. I'll have to wait to do a star test. :-)

Depends on what it actually is. Is the goto base a skywatcher too or only the OTA? If it's not a Sw then what make is it? And like sm1 already asked: how old is it?

:) $500 seems fair , a photo or 3 would really help here , any chance of a few ? it will allow a better assement of the scope .

Seems I scored a real bargain then. The base is SW. The whole setup is in mint condition. No idea how old it is, but it has seen very little use by the look of it. Pics on the weekend.

I paid $1250 for my Go-to Orion XT10g (albeit with some accessories such as a Bintel laser colimator), which is essentially a solid tube skywatcher with a slightly different spec focuser (not sure if mirrors are the same).

I'd say you've got yourself a bargain too!
