Hi everyone !
Here is a part of our galaxy, in the Centaurus constellation: Gum48a :)
As I always say, have a look in the full sized picture; it is full of beauties and the trip is quite amazing: http://www.atacama-photographic-observatory.com/photos/f/37_gum48a_f.jpg
This picture is an addition of 2 fields and is shown as a mosaic image. We have decided to add some H-alpha shoots to reveal some shapes and details :thumbsup:
Technical informations:
- APO observatory in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile - Alain Maury's Space Obs
- Takahashi TOA 150 refractor
- mini-OHP mount with MCMT
- Apogee Alta U16M camera
- Astrodon Ha L R G B Gen2 filters
- L=24x20' - R=G=B=6x20' and Ha=25x40' and everything x2
- shooting, guiding and preprocess: Prism v9
- process: IRIS, PRISM v9 & CS6
