Peter,
The Meade puts out a video signal, so all that you need is a lcd monitor that takes AV input. Typically you can find reversing camera monitors or add-on monitors for car dvd players. I used one of those 7" add-on monitors many years ago. A quick look at ebay shows quite a variety. On the other hand, you might be able to get hold of a portable dvd player that has AV input - this is handy because they usually have an inbuilt rechargeable battery - saves having to connect up power.

As another option, since you may want to record the video, I also have a Dazzle DVD Recorder - lots of these about, that take AV input and you can then record and view on a small laptop. Just a thought, but the small monitor is simpler and can run off a 12V battery.
I used mine for solar viewing, or the occasional Venus transit that we won't see for another hundred plus years.

Hi John. All I wont to do is use it to put a star on to fibber optic cable feeding image to my DIY spectrograph instead of a eyepiece, simpler to do it on computer, thanks very much for all your help really appreciated.
