Had a go at Jupiter last night and the seeing was surprisingly exceptional, what a difference that makes too especially when it comes to processing which I still don't have the hang of but I could actually get a better image out of AstraImage than the auttostakkert sharpened image for once. Also I could use 1.5 drizzle and still get a nice image from that which is rare for me so overall I'm blown away by this capture.
I have also captured detail that I don't think I have got before like the band of small circular storms in the southern belt and even the different belts are clearly defined.
By far and away my best Jupiter to date.
Just a shame I lost it when I put the filter wheel on for an RGB run. Oh well.

Anyway here is.....
First is just the regular stack and second is with 1.5 drizzle.

Thanks guys, quite happy with it.

Sorry about that, there is a spelling error in there. It should read 150PL so that is a 6 inch f/8 scope.
Must get around to changing that. :D

They do make good cameras, mine is a bit old now but I still love it.
Gives me aperture fever too. :D
