Hi All

I'm slowly progressing, with both imaging and processing.

Although this is not real flash, it's not to bad for a second attempt at both of the above.

10 lights, and 10 darks processed in Image Plus and some enhancement in Photo Shop CS2.

The images are of The Small Magalanic Cloud and 47 Tuc, taken with 5D, with EF 135mm F/2.0L, Lens @ F/2.8, exposures of 10 @ 2 minutes each, with Hutech 72mm, LPR Filter.

The Images were taken with a camera platform attached to EQ5 Mount, no guiding.

Nicely done Leon. There looks to be some great detail there. Looks like a damn fine lens.

I think our next little image processing lesson will have to be how to resize your images. What processing do you do after ImagesPlus. Do you have Photoshop? Do you have the Microsoft Image Resizer tool?

Hi Paul, yes i do have Photo Shop CS2, but i'm not sure about Microsoft Image Resizer, i do run Windows XP, with Service Pack 2.
I also use Zoombrowser, from there i take the image to the internet box, which gives me a place to resise, i have to kill off the pixwls to get it to the size to post here.

The image maybe 1,2 MB's, and then i have to change mumbers to bring the size down, the operation calculates as we go along, then when it gets to 150k's i can post it, 1k over the 150 and it wont upload to this site.

Hi Leon

I would love to see a larger pic of this one - how can I achieve this?

Cheers Petra

I'm don't know if you are aware of the PS "Save for Web" feature or not Leon, but if you not aware of it, have a look at this thread "How to reduce images using Photoshop" (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=7779). I've outlined how to resize your images for upload and still keep large size with relatively good quality.

Looks great Leon, would love to see the larger version.
Follow Paul's advice and you'll be able to resize it for the forum.
