Looks good Bo, you have some good detail there , all you need is to adjust the colour balance a bit a and reduce the red.

P.S. Hows the OAG going? Mines great I wish I had bought one years ago.

Cheers

Very nice Bo. The OAG seems to be doing fine. I don't know where you get the red from. This object is traditionally blue.

Yes, colour is shocking, it looke alright on my laptop
I am tearing out my hair with on OAG setup, too fiddlely, thinking of going back to a guidescope setup.

I don't have that problem, I don't guide at all any more; used to guide
manually back in the days of film.

Whats the issue with the OAG when you say its fiddley, I never touch mine, its locked into position and I always find a guide star.

I had to realign the mirrors as I changed the soft metal hex screws for the secondary holder to stainless steels screws, so that changed the focal distance of my newt.
Also the guide cam cannot be screwed directly into the OAG, it can only be held together by the grab screws in the "cup" section which wobbles.
I also did a belt upgrade to my mount so that knocked the polar alignment slightly out. Now that I am back to good guiding with my ED80 and 50mm guides scope, I may consider re trying getting the focal distances right between the ota and the guider.
