alignment

i have a meade lx200 sct, should i cal sensors in alt mode first then put scope on to equatorial wedge. any advise appreciated

I f you put the scope on the wedge, when you turn it on you input that you want eq alignment.
The face of the wedge should be perpendicular to the scp.
