For sale: 28mm UWAN 82 degree eyepiece

Very good condition. There are the usual minor marks on the barrel. (also see edit below)

For the purpose of full disclosure, after I cleaned the top lens I noticed 1 tiny speck that I couldn't clean. It's only visible if you hold the eyepiece towards a light source and then go look for it. I highly doubt it's anything to be concerned about.

Update: New price $180

I can organise a pick up if you're in the Sydney region. I'm in the Campbelltown area and work in the CBD. I can arrange to meet somewhere in between if more convenient.

EDIT: I had another look and discovered a small scratch to the coatings on the outside of the bottom lens. The scratch is thin, but 4mm long. It's located toward the edge. I have now reduced the price accordingly.

Also I will now post.

Update: Any reasonable offer will now be accepted.

I don't think the minor scratch on the bottom lense has any effect on the eyepiece other than re-sale value.

Reduced it to what? I know you asked for offers but clearly you have a price in mind. Could you let us know what it is?

Actually I had it listed for $200 last. It would have been a steal for $100! and very likely sold by now!

I will accept offers for a little under $200...

I took two photos of the eyepiece as attached below.

After closely inspecting the eyepiece again, I'm now very certain that the scratch only effects the coating and not the glass.

The first photo very clearly shows (greatly exaggerates) the scratch. But don't be alarmed! In taking this photo I had to go into my bathroom and turn on all the bright heat lights plus have the camera set to macro with the flash on. In real life the scratch is MUCH less visible, and all of those white dots you see in the photo are also invisible. In fact it is so bright in the first photo that my finger wrapped around the eyepiece is almost invisible!

The second photo I attached shows a much more natural appearance of how the glass really appears.
