Hi Everyone,
So I've been playing around with my point and shoot camera piggybacked onto my DOB and now I'm hooked :) (my first results of M42 are attached) So now I want to get an 1100D and continue doing wide angle stuff but with a DSLR. I'm just not sure whether to go for one with the standard lens of if I should get a body only and get a lens seperately. Budget for the lens would be $100-200. OR while looking for an 1100D I have noticed that they aren't really available new anymore but there is the 1200D, same question would apply though.... stock lens kit or body only and lens separately.
M42 Hi rez http://www.astrobin.com/full/242970/0/
(a lot of the detail gets cut out with the PNG file but I can't seem to host the original TIF file that I made anywhere)
Canon Powershot SX100is
180 x Lights @ 1600iso f4.3 15seconds
40 x Bias
40 x Darks
