How many hours a week (on average) would you be viewing if conditions were good. I average about 10-15 hours. Imagine the average total of viewing time from all of us in just one week :confuse3:

probably 6-9hrs on a good week. this has to be a good week tho. 2-4 would be closer to average.

like everything i do, i dont like to do too too much of it or i find myself getting bored too quick... I can get too much of a good thing. got a funny feeling that star gazing is going to be different tho.

I would say I go out maybe twice a week for 2-3 hours a session if the weather is good for real viewing.

If the local kids grab me then maybe a few extra hours.

At present its been about 3 weeks since I have had a real session, lots of clouds and drizzle here :(

I only get about 5 hours a week but once I build my observatory it may extend out to 30 hours a week.....just need to find somewhere in the observatory to add a bunk......

If weather is good, about 25-30 hours. I usually stay out about 4 hours each viewing night, and I am usually out on every good night. Haven't had any though for about a week and a half. BooHoo.

The short answer is less than I want :)
Depends on weather and moon phase, but probably averages out to 5 hours a week.

I only bother when the moon isnt out and the sky is clear.
For me that means maybe 5 hours in a month.

Anything from 4 to 16 hours depending on the moon, dew and motivation.
