Collage of Comet 252P Linear from March 3rd 2016 to March 15th.
This shows the rapid increase in coma size over 12 days. 7 arc minutes to 27 estimated in 12 days.

Is this comet going closer to the sun, and/or expected to brighten much more , I havent bothered checking it all out yet :rolleyes: :question: :D

Perihelion was on March 15, closest approach to Earth is March 22nd 01:13.
Current visual observation by Michael Mattiazzo has it at Mag 4.5, a week after the 22nd it will probably be around Mag 6.
But 252P has already surprised everyone and may still do so.:)
