Hello Everyone
The transition from a DSLR to Qhy9 mono has been challenging to say the least. Learning to plate solve, use eqmod, maxim dl and everything else involved is time consuming but last weekend it all came together.
So.... NGC 5128 Centuraus A
William optics flt110
QHY9 mono
Guided on a NEQ6 pro
L bin 1x1 RGB bin 2x2, 5 minutes x 6
Master Darks, Bias and Flats applied
Processed with CCD stacker and PS3.
Snake Valley Victoria.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Regards Paul.

Paul
Love the image, great to see a result from the camp!!
Obviously the dip in the lake on Friday helped it come together.

Hi Paul,
nice work - it would be great to see a high resolution pic
rather than the less than 200K size on Ice in Space.
You have captured the faint glow of the outer reaches of the galaxy.
cheers

Well it has been a hard and frustrating journey but enjoyable never the less.
I have received so much support and encouragement, some day I hope I can do the same.
Now that I have this system up and running I can't wait to re-image all my favourite objects and the ones I felt needed better data.
My wife even gave me a double air bed for the wagon while staying at these dark sky sites
Regards Paul.
