Hi everyone,
I thought I'd share this with you..
Ever had one of those perfect nights where you're at a dark-sky site..scope and ep's ready..weather cooling..a slight breeze..clear sky..new equipment to try out?...
It's where patience..hard work..pays off..time to enjoy!..
I was at the ASV's Dark sky site at Heathcote last saturday, and in good company..i've had the best night's viewing so far!!
Galaxies, Nebulaes, clusters were clear and concise...:eyepop:
I've read many an inspiring letter in these forums which makes me appreciate when the opportunity presents itself..OH YEAH!!..it was magic!!
Ahhhh!...life is good!!
(Oh!..I did have a little help..I recently purchased a sky navigator called "e astro 1000 from Bintel Camberwell..very easy to use..great for anyone with a Dob with setting circles as it converts any R.A and DEC into Alt-azimuth figures..push-to made easy!!:P )
Cheers!!:D
