My first tentative try. It obviously needs MUCH longer subs.
35x30 secs @ ISO 3200.

For the short exposure time it has come up quite well. Probably need to push the subs to a couple of minutes to capture some of the fainted nebulosity, still pretty good for a short 17 minutes!

Great stuff Raymo. I've been meaning to have a crack at this one for years and never gotten around to it. Glad to see it's come up so well. :)

Nice work Raymo! It's one of those beautiful aqua blue nebulae. Non astronomers are always surprised with the colour of some objects out there.

Thanks Colin, Cam, and Bruce. The trouble is that as the session wears on, it heads into the light pollution from town; need to go to a dark site.
