thanks guys, i am wondering if fewer subs are actually better?, they seem, this one anyhow, a little cleaner!
raymo live view is an absolute MUST, plus the 5 and then 10 times view focus is achieved in mere seconds
since i am on my second replacement hip too, the main reason i got the 60da was the swivel screen, no bending or kneeling to check the shot

I have several objects that I got better results with by choosing the best single frame. Obviously this doesn't apply to very faint objects.
When doing prime focus imaging with Live View and a Bahtinov mask, I
get great focus every time, but find even 10x Live View of limited use for widefield. It doesn't give a definite point where the star is at its brightest and smallest. The two things don't coincide, its either at its smallest or
its brightest, and I don't know which of the two[if either of them] is the perfect point.

P.S. I don't have to grovel either; I just rotate my tube to a convenient viewing position.
