Hi guys,

I just received my tak fsq 106edx4, and it's beautiful.

However, I ordered the Tak125mm pair rings instead of clamshell, and the Tak Aux off plate to put the rings on. Then I reliased that there is no way I can mount this scope on my paramount MyT, none of my adaptor works with the Aux plate.

I send mail to Bintel and ADM, but none of them reply to me at all for pretty long time, So here I came, if anyone know where I can order or ask someone to make an adaptor with good quality for the Aux plate and MyT? Cost is not an issue for me.

Thanks

Can you remove the Aux plate and bolt the Losmandy plate directly to the rings?

If you particularly want to keep the Aux plate, you could take the Aux plate and Losmandy dovetail to a metal work/engineering shop, tell them how you want them bolted together and they'll do the job for you.

Alternatively buy a drill press with pilot point drill bits and a Tap & Die set and you can make your own adjustments any time you want.

:) Looking at the photos it looks like the Tak base will unbolt trom the rings as Tony says , I have one of the Losmandy universal dove tails like yours and I am yet to find a series of holes these wont bolt up to , they are very clever in design .

Good luck its as it's a lovely looking set up .
