I have to say that I have enjoyed reading the latest edition of Australian Sky & Telescope. The particular articles of interest were Behind the Scenes -Telescope Operators and Restoring a Classic - The 'Mars Telescope' is reborn. Oh and there is a mention in the News Notes section of some guy named Mike Sidonio :question: discovering a galaxy or something to that effect.

I had just given away a few years worth of Astronomy magazines and now I am starting all over again...more $$$'s...jeez I am even thinking about buying the magazine Build your Own Mechanical Solar System..it seems a good quality model.

Great to see you are excited Hans! It is a nice magazine, and it is good to see some Aussie content in it.

Just a comment about the magazine you mentioned: for the same price you could get a nice telescope...
