Orb Weaver

Was very difficult to get lighting right; the flash was much too bright,
so I used my head light [LED]. I don't have a macro lens, so used my
Tamron 18-200mm. Also nowhere to put a tripod, so hand held.

"imagine one of these" hmmm, yes I just think of walking out at night then face first into one of those huge orb webs with that friend in the middle :) Nice images too, Mark

Thanks Mark, yes they have a fairly painful bite, but only occasionally
cause mild symptoms such as a bit of nausea.
