Hi All,
Up for sale is my DSI pro II CCD monochrome imager. It comes in the original box with all the bits and bobs to get you on your way.
The price is $235 + postage.
Included in the box is the filter slide bar attachment for your colour filters, all the software on a CD, a DVD tutorial, the usb cable, various other cables and the instruction sheet.
You will need to organise your own set of colour filters if you'd like to go down that path. Personally, I never used the filter bar as I had a colour filter wheel with it's own filters. I will include the IR filter that came with the unit when I purchased it.
Please refer to the attached pictures and ask away if you have any questions.

That's me buying the unit. Thanks Houghy!
The reason I'm selling this camera is that I've since purchased two other cameras that are more specific to the tasks they perform. I have one for planetary stuff and another on the way for the deep sky stuff.
If you're just wanting to cut your teeth with a CCD (like I was) this is a great little camera to get you started. The software is pretty simple to use and the chip itself teases out a fair bit of detail.
There's no active cooling, but you can easily add a peltier chip or an ice block to knock out a large amount of noise on summer nights.
I tried strapping on my DIY cooler for my ZWO camera for a laugh and it worked surprisingly well.
Please PM me if you have any questions.
Regards.
