Lightning does strike twice it seems.
Last night in Melbourne, I won the title of AIPP Victorian Science, Wildlife and Wild Places Photographer of the Year for 2016. Somewhat incredibly, it's the second year in a row!
All four images entered received Gold awards (90+) one (M8) even getting a coveted Gold award with Distinction (95+).
This category includes professional wildlife, polar and extreme travel photography of the highest standard, but Astrophotography won the day :)
