This was my first night out with my first serious imaging camera (Sorta)
So I managed to convince my parents to buy me a Canon 600D for Christmas, and I sold a few custom built pc's to mates to fund the used Nexstar4se for 500$ off gumtree. ( I dont have the luxury of a job, but I got heaps of time on my hands as a meer highschool student! )

So, using Backyard EOS to achieve 1:1 pixel ratio from the sensor, at 5x Live view, I was able to pull this data despite the large amounts of wind rocking the setup .

From a 4" Mak that's quite amazing! I used to have one of those (a Skywatcher 102mm). Never tried to take any photos with it but visually there was not much detail to see on Jupiter (main belts and occasionally a hint of the GRS). Well done! Would love to see what you could do with a bigger scope.

Very nice! Which moon is over to the far left?

It's a nice result Daniel. Very pleasing to look at.
The 600D is a nice camera and i use one for getting down on the forest floor with fungi. That articulated screen is very useful there and on a telescope. If they would put one on a full frame camera, I would consider buying it.

Well done - Trevor

Impressive amount of detail there Daniel, , , Seen Juup the other night in an 8" SCT with similar details so your capture is great indeed
