Fantastic shot REV.
What are you using lens and camera wise please? And is this a crop from a (much) larger image. I'm guessing it is, but the quality is great even so. Nice DOF too.
I have been thinking of adding a Canon Micro 1x~5x micro lens to the 100mm Macro for the really tiny stuff in the field. Mind you the working distance to the front lens element is insanely small :-)

The blue ringed Ocky, was the one that brought back so many memories of my life as a child, playing in the rock pools around eastern Sydney.

It's an image I'll never forget.

I use a 450 D canon with a 105 Sigma macro plus extension tubes.Plus a led torch and a flash diffuser.I take most of my pics at night while bugs are at rest. The pic is full frame.

Cool setup.
I use a LED Cree for macro fungi photography, and they are excellent. Not least because of the white light nature of some of the LED's.
Love the Gorilla Pod! I used the middle-sized one recently wrapped around the head of my guitar to hold a Canon S110 compact to video my guitar playing. i used my EOS600D, and a friends Nikon D7100 as the other video cameras 9yet to edit all the footage). Heavy though, that Gorilla Pod, and really unbalanced the guitar :-0
