Having recently expressed my interest to Theo about getting a QHY22, he has mentioned that it'll be a few weeks before it arrives mostly due to the Chinese New Year.
So I am seeing if there is any interest for a QHY9 Mono on its own (no CFW) but with all of the components needed in original box. The camera itself has worked flawlessly since I bought it about 6 months ago. The only part that makes it NOT look brand new is the QHYCCD sticker which is showing some wear and tear. I don't think it likes the elements. Other than that it is in full working order. I believe that it does do -50ºc below ambient, never pushed it that far though. I know it'll do -45ºC below ambient at about 75% cooler power so the cooling is fantastic.
As KAF-8300 cameras go, the QHY9 appears to have the second lowest read noise among other variants, the Moravian(?) being slightly lower. It is a great camera, I just need a read noise nearer to 4 than 9 :P
Will be able to get some pictures up tomorrow hopefully.
