I can't say I'm completely happy with this one. It needs to be revisited with more and better data. I also had numerous gradient problems which probably indicates that faint nebulosity is not a good subject for a light polluted backyard. Anyway it's better than the last image I took of it a few years back.
Cheers
Steve

Still quite nice, Steve, and much higher res than the few images I've seen of CG12.
Cheers,
Rick.

I'd suggest a tad too blue.
But very tidy just the same.
I'm quite enjoying the apparent change in fashion toward (excellent) narrow field images of late...seeing lots of subtle details that are often lost at FL 1000mm (or so) is very cool.

Thanks Peter and yep - I think you're right. It has that slightly washed out appearance suggesting insufficient data though so I definitely plan to go back to it and will correct the colour then.

Thanks Greg. I plan to get more data when I can. I think it needs it.
Lovely image Steve, I quite liked the blue!

Nice image Steve. I like the colour and detail. I have been meaning to re-image myself and this is a nice reminder to do so. I had not considered a close up.

Thanks Paul. I still think it needs a lot more data but I tried to do the best I could with what I had. It's probably works better with a shorter focal length.

That's the most detail I've seen on NGC 5367, looks good Steve!
This is my attempt from last year.

As you say, needs a lot more time.
Cheers,
Justin.

Nice shot. You can start seeing the striation in the blue reflection neb.

Looks great Steve, it is quite blue but I don't mind it that way. Nice detail and whispy dust. Great image :)

Thanks guys - glad you liked the image. I think yours looks pretty good too Justin but this is clearly an object for a really long exposure and nice dark sky.

Overall, that is a very attractive image Steve.
detail is good, stars are tight and colour looks right to me (but then my eyes are pretty decrepit)

Thanks Ray. It's tending to grow on me but there is no doubt it would have looked better if I had a dark sky.
