I had another look at my data and came up with a more interesting image of this small planetary. It's hard to get guidance on what this thing should look like as there are very few images of it on the web and the Hubble image isn't much help. To me it looks like a small version of the ring nebula.

It does look like a smaller Ring Nebula, quaint :thumbsup:

Probably a frivolous observation of mine given that many planetaries resemble the Ring to some degree.

It's tiny Steve but I like the colours and your processing. I don't think I have seen this object imaged before.

A good little planetary capture Steve. I agree with the Ring Nebula comparison. The RC definitely works well on these small objects.

Thanks Rodney. Yes it certainly does. F9 is a good compromise focal ratio.
Thanks Paul. Yes it's certainly tiny. I don't think I would bother with anything smaller. It's certainly not often imaged. When I searched for it pretty much the only other useful image of it that I found was one I had taken previously.
