Jupiter from Melbourne Feb 7, 2016

Hi everyone,

Well I may as well keep piling up the Jove images in IIS - slow moving high over Melbourne has been good for Jove imaging - Jetstream is now starting to kick in, but it's been very good by Melbourne standards.

Jupiter is blazing away in the NE sky after midnight, and even to the novice it's hard to miss. A great opposition coming up.

Clear skies and hope others were out there.

Had a great night observing on Friday night, very steady conditions, finished off the night with super views of Jupiter.

Nice work John, I like your capture with Ganymede. Not sure if you also got to image yesterday morning but like Barb, I found the seeing very good and even better than this morning.
