Another image been working on in between clouds. Didn't have the alignment issues with this one that I had with M42.

Anyway, ED80 w 0.85 flattener. Atik 11000. Atik 314L guiding through thin OAG. Ha (3 hours of 15 minutes), Green (1 hour of 10 minutes) and Blue (1 hour of 10 minutes.

Cheers all

That's looking really good Scott. I am actually quite surprised how well it is performing with an 11002 sensor. Is it cropped at all?

Thanks Colin. A bit. Not a lot though.
As I said in the M42 thread, I have the spacing as good as I am going to get. Just have to be careful with framing each session!

really nice work scotty.
i'm thinking i should pick up an ed80 or similar for widefield.
that has performed really nicely, as for the difference between M42 and this i think it would be focuser sag, some angles work some don't, happens a bit on my newt which effects the corners. but you have room to crop with that sensor so i wouldn't worry tooooo much about it!

Cheers

Great image Scotty! I love this orientation too where it looks like a butterfly. Love this target, it's great wide and up close. So much going on.

Thanks Dylan. Have to admit that it is one of my favorite targets too.
Working on a contraption that enables me to use the atik11000 camera with my camera lenses to shoot the Antares region at 300 mm. That's my favorite target!
