So this is one single exposure taken with my Nikon D810A and William Optics 71mm Astrograph. Spent a few minutes editing this shot, histogram stretched slightly with a few additional tweaks in lightroom.
Just thought I would share it with you all.

Not sure if the link works or not but here is a better version of it on my little website i've been slowly working on when I get time too.

From my digital dunce's perspective that's a ripper.
Are all seven images single exposures?

Wow!
Very impressive for a single shot.
Just a comment about using your Nikon for imaging. My D800 had significant corrosion on it's circuit boards when was written off after I dropped it. I suspect this corrosion may have come from repeated dewing events (I've had the whole camera covered in frost after a particularly cold night at Leyburn). The repairer told me the weather seals are only "felt", not proper O-Rings. I'll still use my new D810 for astro-imaging, but will cover it in a plastic bag to hopefully keep some of the moisture off the camera.

Not too sure what you mean by all seven images are single exposures?

Thanks I'll certainly keep that in mind and be a little more cautious about my camera in dew conditions.

Ha, thats just nuts :P:thumbsup:. A single exposure on a DSLR and a few minuites fiddling in lightroom . Excellent effort!, well not so much effort really, just an excellent pic anyway, impressive indeed.

Sorry for the delay, but I was asking whether the seven,[now 8]
images in your link were also single exposures.
