Not sure if anyone else has seen episode 1, but it opens a whole new can of worms. Not sure how they are going to fit it all into 6 episodes. Episode 2 tomorrow, should be very interesting...:question:

I'm hoping channel 10 can show all the 6 episodes without stuffing it around. I have not decided if I'm going to wait until all 6 episodes have aired then watch them or watch each episode on the night they air on 10.

I wonder how long before the blu-ray release of season 10 will be! They left room in the BD box set for the 10th season.

I just watched Episode 3, what a load of cobblers, they lost the plot on this one. Was like a 3rd rate 50's flick. Seriously if this is the best they can produce, the series is finished. Chris Carter, what were you thinking:screwy:

I've only seen the first two eps but it hasn't been as good as I hoped. I feel they haven't quite recaptured the original atmosphere yet, although there were signs of it in Ep2.

The other issue is that the short run of only 6 episodes means everything is rushed. But even if they get a proper season this could still be a problem because these days a "full" season tends to be only 12 episodes, not 24 or so like they used to. The build up of the conspiracy mythology works best when done gradually, and then you can forgive the occasional silly episode (I'm aware of the title of Ep 3 so I can imagine what you're taking about!)

I can only hope that these 6 episodes are an attempt to gauge whether there's sufficient interest for a proper return. I'm not sure though, and of course both actors are tied to other shows for the time being.
