My family and I survived the big winter storm Jonas aka Snowzilla.
Thanks to those who sent PMs to check on me.
We had about 12 inches (1 foot) of snow and a lot of wind. We are a bit North of the heaviest snow falls where more than 2 feet of snow fell.
For a blizzard we got by with no problems and with plenty of provisions piled up in advance, we escaped without losing power or Internet and passed the time with family watching movies and eating popcorn. I could use a few more storms like that!
Sunday has been a gloriously sunny day with mild (for winter) temperatures of -2 C...I was actually wearing shorts today while running my snow blower.
It will take a few days for things to get back to normal and we will have the snow piles until Spring but all in all it was not bad for us here at all.
Clear Dark Skies to All,
