Hi guys.

Had a great session on Friday night, one of my most enjoyable for a while, and I approached this observing session with more structure than my previous ones.

If you're inclined and interested, please read all about it on the observing logs page:

A Night of Satellites and Clouds (http://www.iceinspace.com/index.php?id=33,117,0,0,1,0)

Thanks for looking, appreciate any feedback!

Great report there .
Almost the same objects I viewed on that night for the review.
While viewing the magellanic clouds also had a satalite transit my field of view.
Sunday night was an even better night for viewing after it cooled down a bit towards 11.00pm

Hey that's not a bad form, thanks for the link Aragorn!

I've been threatening myself to start taking proper notes and logs for a while, now with some suitable forms I might actually making good on my threat! :)

I've also seen some nice forms from Jeremy Perez on the CN forums..

Here's a link to the PDFs he created..

Astro Record Sheet (http://www.perezmedia.net/beltofvenus/files/LogSheetAstro.pdf)

Lunar Record Sheet (http://www.perezmedia.net/beltofvenus/files/LogSheetLunar.pdf)

He has a great observing report style (http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/242624/page/0/view/collapsed/sb/5/o/all/fpart/1) and some nice sketches.. in lieu of DSO imaging equipment I might have to start sketching some myself .. although my artwork in high school was always more cartoony so I don't know how well that will translate :)
