This started out as a series of diagnostic exposures to try and get to the bottom of some problems and in the end I managed to produce an image. I've never imaged these galaxies before. They make an attractive pair.
Cheers

Lovely.
I just searched my "Brilliant works by others" folder for NGC 2207 and to my surprise did not find another example. Thanks for sharing.
Nice colour balance. You can advantageously clip the black point quite a bit (about 4800 counts) without impacting on any of your swag of distant faint fuzzies.
Best,

Thanks Mike. I was contemplating getting some Ha to bring out the HII regions too.

Nice test image Steve, love these two interacting galaxies, probably my second favourite after the Devils Mask in Pavo

Thanks Mike. I remember you imaged them once before but I could only find a luminance image on your web site. Not familiar with the devil's mask - another one to have a look at some time.
