G'day all,

It's been awhile between drinks for any reasonable photo's coming from my scopes, but things are on the mend with several issues bieng slowlys ironed out.

Last night I went to an ASWA dark sky event to use the opportunity as another attempt to iron out problems and start getting back to normal imaging. Things ended up going very well after a drift alignment and then successfully guiding using GuideDog and my QuickCam Pro 4000 (un-modded).

So, I wasn't expecting any images from the night, but ended up with a couple. This is one. Very limited exposure time - 3 frames of 3 minutes.

Oh, and it's 800ASA, forgot to include that on the image.

Horrible viewing conditions, thin cloud and turbulent atmosphere.

Roger.

Roger, I think that's a great return on 9min of imaging!

Hard to really tell at that size and resolution but you have good colour balance and general control of the image .

Nice work

Mike

Thanks guy's.

Full size the stars are slightly illongated, but I'm still pretty happy :-)

This image isn't raw....
- stacked & combined in RegiStar
- levels
- curves
- unsharpen (the old style way - blur, darken, subtract).
- levels some more

I think that's about it.

Roger.
