Jupiter and Mars from Tue 29th Dec 15

Hi all,

Attached are my first Jupiter and Mars images for this apparition.

Jupiter taken at 4:59am and Mars at 5:58am (no torch needed!) Melbourne time.

Both taken with 12" F5 Newtonian, x5 Powermate, DMK21AU618, Edmund filters. Overall focal length of about 11.5m.

AutoStakkert! 2, Photoshop and Topaz DeNoise 5.

For Mars I was perhaps a little lucky with some better seeing as the Sun rose. A second image set 10 minutes later was rubbish.
