Hi folks,

for doing good astrophotography I always have to leave my home and go to places with better conditions. My favorite place is not far away, but I have to transport all the equipment. I have a 10" newtonian, to transport it is not really a simple thing. So I realised a little dream and I am the owner of a TeleVue 127 now.
Some days ago I had my first light. My target were some faint galaxies in constellation Aries. Only luminance (52x600s), no flats. I have to correct a small tilting, then it should be okay and I can start with the full programm. :D

This is a 100% crop:

Congratulations Werner, it's an awesome telescope, Santa has been very generous for you this year ;)

The first light looks great too  Are you planning to add RGB data at some point in the future?

Thank you for the nice comments! :)

Slawomir, yes, this is not the first on my list. But maybe....

A great first image. The 127 is an interesting scope. A bit like the upcoming FSQ130 that seems to be heavily delayed.
