Hi,
Very impressed with Noiseware - thank you Brent.
Attached used strongest setting and was followed by a slight touch-up of levels in PS. I've attached the previous version for quick comparison,

As much as it may have reduced the noise I do prefer the first one, the second looks like it has been black clipped a bit far.

Hi Colin. Looking at them again after a little time away from the PC, I think I'm inclined to agree with you. Thanks for your comment.

Noiseware has really cleaned the image but the stars look like they are added graphics. I also wonder is it possible the program may have remove some of the actual nebula image/data.

It would be interesting to see other version(s) processed at a weaker settings.

I don't do any imaging but I enjoy looking at what other people post and reading about their images.

Geez Robert, I'll have to watch what 'toys' I let you play with next time .

Yeah, it's a bit overdone but just shows what tools are out there to get those good clean images. Plenty of other milder settings you can play with to find the right balance. My aim is to always try to find the balance point of clean but natural looking still retaining the softer details. Not always easy but very rewarding when you come close to it.

Nice one

Brent, It's a great toy! I plan to work on the image using all the available settings and compare the results without re-touching with PS. (When grandchildren permit ) I'll post results.
