Wishing everyone a Safe and Happy upcoming Festive Season from Capturing The Night.

I truly appreciate all the support of my work I have received over the past year. I apologise for my lack of activity over the last month or so. I underwent surgery a couple of weeks ago to fix a problem which has been giving me grief for a while. Now that I am pretty much back to normal I hope I will be able to get out under the stars a lot more soon. I did manage to sneak out briefly last week for the Geminids Meteor Shower. I had two cameras going in two different directions. I visually saw lots of faint meteors but didn't capture many on camera. The best I managed was this bright green one reflected in the lake next to Venus and it was not even a true Geminid as it did not originate from the radiant point. Also managed to catch a pass of the International Space Station on the same camera.

Cheers

Geminid meteor + ISS pass AND an Iridium flare - ?!

That's greedy - you need to share stuff around!
