Edit 15 January: Price update.
Edit: It is obvious from the enquiries that I have been receiving that it is best if I sell these items individually so I will be proceeding on that basis. See individual price list below.
Continuing my astronomy bits and pieces clean up I have a number of 1.25" eyepieces for sale. I have collected these over some 15 years or more of observational astronomy but seeing as I now have a very good set of 2" eyepieces I cannot justify hanging on to this collection. Here's what is included:
Televue Plossl 11mm ($80) - (now $60 - SOLD);
No name Plossl 25mm ($20) - (now $10 - SOLD);
Televue Plossl 32mm (SOLD);
Televue Plossl 20mm (SOLD);
No name Plossl 40mm (SOLD);
Tasco 2x barlow (SOLD);
Meade 2x barlow (SOLD);
Celestron Illuminated Reticle - (Withdrawn);
Plus postage to the above prices of course.
Eyepieces are in good condition with normal signs of use. The Celestron illuminated reticle is an interesting item which I purchased second hand at Astro Optical Supplies when they were still trading from Crows Nest in Sydney. Must have been in the early 2000s I think when I bought it second hand and so it must be almost an vintage item. It has a separate battery unit which houses a nine volt battery and a dimmer control. More important is the fact that it still works. Worth buying I think just for the historical value.
Setting a price on this lot is a challenge so all I can go off is to work out the current replacement price and start from there. I calculated that if I were to go out and buy replacements for all of these it would cost in the order of $800. Edit: will be selling items separately.
See attached images of items. Please PM with any offers or questions.
