I will have to remember what I did! Then I might be able to post the info.

In this case, I had piggybacked the stock 1100D on the scope, pointed it at a nice looking region and opened the shutter. Left the scope to guide it.

Lens Canon EF 80-200mm,set at 121mm, focus was via live view and 10x magnification.

Looks great to me. We were there (and Darling River) in late Sept - shame about the high bright moon for late Sept - took until the end of the trip before I could get seeing that was fitting for the location.

Can I suggest that you get a small hard cover notebook and record the
details of every session. You will be surprised at the number of times you will need to refer to it.

I quite like these widefield shots which include the greater area. Lets me peruse and look for interesting bits too investigate later. Always amazes me how many stars there are that are just 'invisible' to the naked eye or hidden in the LP. Unfortunately they don't come out so well from my LP'd home site, too much red glow although I'm experimenting with filters to see if I can cut through some of it.

May I suggest you point your camera towards the south and see what you get in the LMC and\or SMC region or around Carina. Some interesting bits up there.
