Well I decided enough is enough for this object. The total Ha is now over 13 hours and the OIII is over 18 hours. Probably not a lot of difference from the last one I posted except it's just that little bit deeper.

Cheers

Steve

Again, smooth and detailed Steve, one of the best of very few examples available on googling it. Your RGB star field is best by far, and really makes a difference on this tricky dim one.

You have managed to go very deep there Steve, that is no mean feat :)

Thanks guys. I had to work hard on the noise reduction and, as a result, the image is a bit softer than I would like. I'm sure some of the experts out there could have processed it better than I could.

Looks very nice, Steve. Must be a very challenging object!

Even better. The background is clearer and the balance between OIII and H-alpha is better now. Superb.

Thanks Tim

Thanks Rick. It's only the faint bits that are challenging.

Great image Steve. Love the colour and the bubble.

Steve
I actually think this is one of your best images and certainly an object I am not familiar with. I also think this could get picked up as an APOD.

Cheers
Martin

Superb image Steve!

Not imaged that often, probably because it's faint - but it certainly is a beautiful nebula at long exposures!

Tony.

Thanks Martin - I was certainly happy with it. I'll put it up to APOD but it probably doesn't stand much chance because Don Goldman imaged it not so long ago

Thanks Greg
