Well I don't know how much further I will continue on this one as I think I'm approaching diminishing returns. So far I'm up to about 11 hours of Ha and 10 hours of OIII. The faint stuff, including the ring shaped supernova remnant, is coming through though. I think Mike and Trish are working on this one too and they will probably come up with something that blows this away. I may get a bit more data but the weather is making things difficult again.
Cheers
Steve

that is really nice steve, definitely worth the extra mileage to bring out the faint stuff. the detail in the brighter regions is also excellent. top image.

Nice one Steve  I find the image enchanting - as good images of the more obscure objects are. I'm working on an obscure one myself - if my camera behaves and the weather cooperates that is!! :help:

Lovely work, Steve. Very low noise now. Colours, including star colours, are looking great. The SNR or WR nebula or whatever has emerged wonderfully since the earlier shot. Ridiculously faint object well captured.

Great colour Steve, in fact I think I like this colour palette best of all the images I have seen of this object. The back ground is very smooth. I think though you could tease out a lot more detail yet. It looks to be a tough target in any case.

Thanks Luis
Thanks Paul. A fair bit of noise reduction was used to smooth it out. I'm surprised the noise reduction police haven't been on my back. the bright bit certainly isn't a tough target but the surrounding bits are.
Thanks Mike
Thanks Tim
Thanks Marcus. I hope the weather cooperates for you. It's still not great here generally only being clear around full moon
Thanks Rusty
